Describe symptoms clearlyWhen does the issue happen? RPM, speed, gear, load, temperature, and warning lights all help.

Mechanical condition mattersA tune should not be used to hide mechanical faults. Problems need to be diagnosed before calibration work is treated as the fix.

Data is usefulExisting scan logs, DTCs, wideband data, and previous calibration files can shorten the diagnostic process.
